Leak at Water Shut off underneath sink

This is an item we consider more serious—it's a leak at the water shutoff. When it comes to plumbing leaks, we categorize them into two types: A) Supply side leaks and B) Drain line leaks. A drain line leak only occurs when the occupant turns on the water. While not ideal, it's less concerning than a supply side leak, which leaks regardless of whether the water is turned on or not. This type of leak is more problematic as it can occur 24/7. Identifying such issues is one of the many services we provide during our home inspections in Las Vegas, Summerlin and Henderson.
